To love God with ALL our hearts, soul, mind, and strength is death. To give ALL is to die, is it not? If love is patient, kind, not proud, not boastful, not selfish, not ...then it too is not about us. Love therefore puts others on the same plane as ourselves. JESUS PROMISED PERSECUTION

We seem to accept the persecution of others even to the death and see that it glorifies the Lord Jesus. We quote scriptures like "those who give up their life will gain their life". But when we are the subject of the persecution then all at once the scriptures are changed to, "God has not appointed us to wrath" and they are saying that persecution will not come.
