Michael is correct in saying that The Word of God is the only Truth that can save; but we should all be aware that it is written in The Holy Scriptures that the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ is The Word of God and The Truth. The Word of God is a person and not The Book. Michael quotes Ps 119 and we should look in that Ps to see what is written about The Word of God. Ps 119: 67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word. 68 You are good, and what you do is good; teach me your decrees. 69 Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep your precepts with all my heart. 70 Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law. 71 It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. - Notice the writer is speaking to The Word of God and calling Him good. He is asking the Word of God to teach him "His" decrees. This man was aware that The Word of God was a person and not a Book. We look in the Book to find the words of God and seek Him to speak The Word of God to us. To understand the decrees in The Book, The Word of God muct live in our hearts. - Lou Newton

Michael Youseff is correct. If you are a "spiritual sponge" then get off your hinny and stand up for Christ. God tells us in His Word that he "appoints all leaders into positions of authority, yes, even evil ones, for His purpose". Electing President Obama is an abomination to all that is right and good in this country...yet it happened, for evil, not good. His anti-Christ spirit is evident when he bowed before an Islamic leader. Americans have been forfeiting their freedom and liberty for decades - out of ignorance and passivity. There IS but ONE GOD...He is Jehovah Jirah - not Allah, Buddah, nor Josesph Smith.

- That our Churches would annoint one government to go to war against another.
- That after bankrupting the nation and bogging us down in a war, you neocon churches still insist on being right.
- That with our current rate of abortion, divorce, and other vices of this world, arrogantly consider ourself a Christian nation.
Bottom line: YOU were in charge for the last 8 years and YOU blew it!
