Dear Belgium: Not all Lutheransin the USA voted that way. Just the ELCA. There are plenty of Lutherans that stick to the Biblical view espoused in Holy Scripture.
SR from MN: Yes, how nice, we want to be inclusive. Yet, endorsing Unrepentant homosexuals is not how Scripture teaches us to reach the lost. Paul says, " And such WERE some of you." Meaning, they had repented. First, ELCA includes unrepentants in the congregation, then admits them to the pulpit if they are celebate and finally endorses their homosexual pastors if they are in a loving monogomous relationship. But it all comes down to the perversion of how you view Scripture. To ELCA it is just a bunch of stories or narratives that may or may not be true. From there it is quite easy to devolve into the nonsense that pours forth from ELCA pulpits. The sem at Columbus, OH deliberately sets forth to destroy any faith that the future clergy may have upon entering that sem. "Come ye out from among them and be ye separate." How this can be the finest hour? Very simple. Look to the Lutherans, the chose with a mayority of 66.6 procent (yes, six six six) for lesbians and homos in jobs in the ,,church". . Who is This Rev Jim Wallis to speak for the christians, for Obama care, The things I have found I do not like about this man Rev Wallis. If possible try to download "The Ed show" Aug 19, MSNBC the man was stating how the christians were going to join with a 1000 other ministers and get behind Obama-care on the moral issues.

This sermon is so timely and true. American Christians are in for persecution like our forefathers here had never believed or imagines. Yet it will all be for THE GLORY OF JESUS CHRIST.
